“The orchestra, led with precision and emotion by Band Musical Director Timothy Tsang, […] form the beating heart of the performance. Their music carries the story with remarkable sensitivity, shifting effortlessly between fear, joy, and sorrow.”
— DST First Night
“Conducting not only a fourteen-piece band but also the choir is a daunting feat to say the least – but band musical director Timothy Tsang handled this with apparent ease, never allowing anyone to falter. The band themselves evidently deserved their spot in the centre of the stage, doing Alan Menken justice with an almost perfect rendering that elevated the entire night.”

On the streets of Paris, a tale of love, conflict, and acceptance. With a soaring score, choir and band, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is brought to life in concert.
Follow Quasimodo the hopeful bellringer of Notre Dame as he ventures from his tower and falls for the beautiful Romani Dancer Esmerelda. Unbeknown to Quasimodo his guardian Frollo is also taken by Esmerelda leading to a tragic conflict. A tale of love, goodness, prejudice, and power, we watch Quasimodo and the Romani dream of finding a home within a society who shuns them. A story made even more beautiful and heartbreaking through its enchanting score and brought to life with an ethereal band and choir.
